Workplace Payroll Deduction Campaigns

Just because young people dig themselves a hole, doesn’t mean they can’t pull themselves out. Since 1974, The Chesapeake Center for Youth Development has been providing educational opportunities, vocational training, counseling, and recreational activities for 200 seriously troubled youth every year. Through the CCYD’s workforce development programs, Peak Youth Services Bureau, the Juvenile Intervention Family Independence Project, the Rediscovering Me Clubhouse and Docs in the Park, young people learn to be responsible, self-sufficient, and goal oriented — breaking a dangerous cycle of troubled family relationships, underage drinking and substance abuse, dropping out of school and delinquency.
